Account Director

Our Account Directors bring a strong knowledge of integrated marketing strategy, creative, analytics and media in order to help drive client success. This person will lead a group of agency accounts by successfully building the client’s business in a productive, inspiring and motivating way. The Account Director leads the client, mentors the team, rallies the agency and works with the Executive team as needed. We are looking for people who are passionate about integrated B2B marketing with the ability to work in a professional and inspiring manner.

 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Overall responsibility for the success of the account – including both client and internal teams
  1. Establish the integrated strategies for your clients including communication plans, creative briefs, media/ contact objectives and success metrics
  2. Own, develop and present to your clients the agency POV on strategic documents, creative rationale, research and analytics, plans and other major directions
  3. Build solid client relationships that demonstrate understanding of their business, priorities and internal organization
  4. Grow and mentor your account teams through training, guidance, motivation and feedback
  5. Initiate ideas for testing and leadership for measuring results
  6. Maintain working knowledge of the industry and industry best practices
  7. Document best practice and test results
  8. Identify & cultivate new revenue opportunities with existing clients
  9. Participate in new business pitches as appropriate based on client and scope

 

Qualifications

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Minimum 7+ years is required, ideally on the Agency side showing growth. This can include Digital, Direct and/or Traditional expertise
  • Integrated marketing experience is essential while experience with B2B/ Technology is a plus. Some of the skills we are looking for include at least some of the following disciplines: branding, strategic planning, direct marketing, digital marketing, social media, and advertising.
  • Proven strategic leader with the ability to harness analytic skills while breeding high creativity and experimentation
  • Strong influencing skills with a powerful and persuasive attitude
  • Excellent writing, oral and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree required
