In order to deliver the best strategic offerings to our clients we need strong Project Managers that can hit the ground running and quickly build confidence with our clients. As a Project Manager  your primary responsibilities will be to manage a wide range of projects from conception all the way through final execution. Together with your Account Director you will help shape and deliver on our client’s vision and exceed their expectations. Project Managers have access to the latest best practices and innovative marketing methods working with some of the best talent in the industry.

To be considered for our Project Manager position you must be a proven leader with no less than 3 years of relevant experience. Specific direct/relationship marketing experience and a history of managing B-to-B and technology clients is preferred. You must be agency-smart, marketing savvy and have the passion to make a difference. You must bring strong organization, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills both internally as well as client facing. Most importantly, you must have a proven record of collaboratively managing projects and delivering solutions that exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  •         Creates and executes development/project plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  •         Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  •         Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  •         Reviews and confirms deliverables are prepared and approved by team before passing to client.
  •         Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  •         Prepares for internal/external engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
  •         Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects by effectively managing project resources.
  •         Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Consistently delivers high-quality services to our internal team and clients.

 Client Management

  •         Often manages day-to-day client interaction as determined by project scope.
  •         Manages against client expectations.
  •         Communicates effectively to proactively identify needs and evaluate alternative business/technical solutions.
  •         Able to manage deliverables successfully given incomplete or conflicting information


Communication

  •         Facilitates team and client meetings effectively.
  •         Holds regular status meetings with project team.
  •         Keeps project team well informed of changes within the organization and new/changing client needs.
  •         Effectively communicates relevant project information to superiors.
  •         Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
  •         Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.


Project Accounting

  •         Tracks and reports team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
  •         Determines appropriate revenue recognition via milestones.

Teamwork

  •         Consistently acknowledges and appreciates each team member's contributions.
  •         Effectively utilizes each team member to his/her fullest potential.
  •         Motivates team to work together in the most efficient manner.
  •         Keeps track of lessons learned and shares those lessons with team members.
  •         Mitigates team conflict and communication problems.Qualifications

Qualifications

  •         3-5 years of project management experience including 1 year of agency experience.
  •         Experience with Microsoft Project
  •         Some experience in building and deploying interactive applications
  •         Functional knowledge of web based project management tools (basecamp, jira, confluence)
  •         Experience with Microsoft Project
  •         Expertise in building and deploying interactive applications
  •         Functional knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
  •         Solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  •         Positive Attitude
